Well, yea I've been on a long, long hiatus. Now I'm back. It's 4 a.m. now and I'm not thinking very coherently but, yeah, I'm still gonna post. A LOT of things happened this holiday, and I really could have blogged a lot but I kinda was too lazy to post them then. So I'm gonna scribe them all down here. My mouse is kinda screwed, firstly. I can barely click anything properly and during dota just now, I had to press the same button 5 times to attack that pesky BloodSeeker. Yeah my team won :D
SOFTBALL CAMPAnd so, there was the softball camp, from 5-8 December if I'm not wrong. Firstly, the exco for the camp consisted of: Hui Fu, Ken Min, However-you-spell-his-name(korean)(Don't misunderstand me, he is a nice guy but I can't spell his Korean name), Gerald, Benjamin Chiam and other people which I can't remember due to my sleepyness. If you knew better, you'd know each and every single one of them are sadistic. Yes, indeed they are. Therefore, training=hell :D. There was PT at every single slot they could fit it in, they cancelled our movie period for us to do more PT, and they insert PT into all the activities we have. Yeah, how fun. First day, alot of basic crap and we learnt how to slide. Yeah I can't slide that well but, meh. Had an abrasion at you-know-where on the first day. Of course it didn't heal and dragged on to the second day.
-second day-
Arrived there, blah. Firstly we played soccer across the whole rugby field. Losing team gets 200 pushups D: Yeah but they faked. So, meh. We had lunch at like 11 30. We were supposed to have lunch later but every single one of us felt damn hungry and the seniors were like, NUGGETS :D and we were like, GIVE THEM TO US and they were like, DOWN 20~! Played machine game where I sucked big time due to my abrasion. Ball passed me but I could barely run without wanting to rip my leg out. Then my senior was like, RUN YOU FAT LAZY *******. I really wanted to strangle him and dip his head into a tub of scorpions.
-third day-
Did not happen cos I skipped it. COACH GAVE PERMISSION OKAY?!
Well, that concludes my awesome experience known as the softball camp.
Alot of random things happened during the holidays yeah.
Now for the awesome part.
Rad(i)cal CampCHURCH CAMP!
This camp is AWESOME! It's not just a camp where you have fun and bleh that's all. It really just taught me so much more about my relationship with God and it really just changed me:D.
FIRSTLY, I was in group iNurture. Yes, all the groups started with iSomething. The first day, I woke up at 6.50. Supposed to be there by at leat 7.30. LOL. My brother wanted to wake up at 6.15 to bathe so I was like, meh might as well not set my alarm. Note that my brother and I were both going for the camp. Then I woke up and saw my brother just going into the toilet. I thought like, oh still early, must be like 6.20. Went back to sleep. Got a call from Jared and he said, "Eh, I come over your house now ah!". I was like, "WTH!? YOU INSANE PERSON I SLEPT AT 1 PLAYING DOTA SO STEP OFF AND LET ME SLEEP!!" Of course I didn't say that, being the NICE person I am. So I said, "Huh? So early come for what". Then I got my wake up call and realized it was 6.50. RUSHED to change, wash up and eat breakfast. Which was Sushi, for some unknown reason. We managed to make it there by 7.10. I live a 7 minute walk away from my Church okay. I brought a nice big, heavy, bulky bag whereas everybody else brought small stuff and Jared brought a luggage. My brother was a Leader of a group there, called iDare. Nice name, bad leader. LOL! Just Kidding, he is nice to other people but not nice to me T.T. Jared was in iTrust. And so we went there, and went to the porch. We camped there for a long time then went to meeting place to collect our camp booklet and tags and to confirm that we were going and our passport was valid. I met my awesome team there. Consisting of, Rachel(GL), Joan(AGL), Gavin, Joshua, Michelle, Pamela, Jeanette, Oswyn, Clarence, Dominique and Sis. Jo(AL). Fun bunch :D but all kept to themself for quite a long time. This phenomenon consists of me too, naturally. But eventually we all got together and really did our best. So there, we played icebreaker games. Soon enough, we got onto our bus and got ready to go to Johor Bahru, Selesa Hotel. 4 star hotel, but seriously, worse than a 3 star hotel D:
-First Day-
Early morning service, then lunch. After that, we got our room numbers and room mates. I was in the same room as Damien and Johnathan. Damien was in Worship Min. and was playing the Electric Guitar and Johnathan was a random person. LOL. Neh he is best friends with Jinfero. We got changed into our sports gear for a set of awesome games. Our VERY first game was a crazy mud game. We had to play connect 3 with humans. We played it in some muddy, soapy(yes soapy) field. We had to crawl on some soapy muddy canvas to get under the rafia strings with marked the boundaries of our playing grid. Well obviously, the fastest way was to slide, which I did, resulting in the death of my favourite pants and shirt. RIP, shirt and pants. I'll always love you. Well there were heckload of games and if I said every single one of them you all would stone me or ignore me for the rest of our lives. Well there was one game were we had to send an egg across the swimming pool. Yeah, good times. Powerful sermon preached at night. A 5 hour service. My throat was hoarse from all the worship.
-Second Day-
Yeah alot of things but I really can't recall anything due to sleepyness. BUT, our Beloved Pastor Gary was leaving IGNYTE ministry for a greater calling, to be in the Worship Ministry in the Adult service. GOD BLESS YOU PASTOR GARY.
The food however was subpar D:
-Third Day-
The games that day were meaningful, about taking Singapore for God.
-Fourth Day- Yeah we went home. BUT WE HAD A DELICIOUS LUNCH AT SOME RANDOM RESTAURANT. THE FOOD WAS SO DAMN AWESOME. I WOULD SELL JARED AWAY FOR THAT MEAL. Okay maybe I wouldn't.
Did I mention my brother was in Worship Min. and he was serving on most days XD.
Overall camp Rad(i)cal was AWESOME!
IT WAS SO AWESOME!
Well I still have the Christmas Party to post about but that will probably take me 30 minutes to write. So I'm gonna go and finish this post tomorrow. Bai.
